I'm interested in going to both festivals, but time and cost are constraints.
When are you guys thinking of going?

Went to Red Heifer last night. For sure the best restaurant experience I've had in this country.

Parking was a nightmare, but the manager said that it normally wasn't this bad, and they were working on getting their patrons free access to a nearby lot.

Service was impeccable. Waitress came by a few times during the meal, but not in your face awkward. She stood about 5 feet away from the table, and just kind of caught my eye and ask if everything was ok and if we needed anything. If there is a way for them to improve their service, I couldn't find it.

Yes, it's on the expensive side, but all told, I felt I got my money's worth. We started with the chicken tenders. I'd rate them good to very good. They come with a jalapeno sauce, but you can ask for an alternative sauce (I believe it was basil mayo). Both dips were very good, the jalapeno was a bit too strong for my taste, but still flavorful. If you're into hot, I think you'll like it.

Mains we got the Chef's steak and a brisket sandwich. Steak is prepared with a coffee and brown sugar rub, and even though my wife warned me that it wasn't my style of taste (it's more of I guess a mesquite flavor), and she was right, it was still of the best meats I've had in this country. One thing that really surprised me was how perfectly it was done. I ordered it medium rare, and shockingly (for this country) it came out exactly that. Not medium well, not raw in the middle. The outside a dark grilled brown, and inside was a consistent red, not raw. And it was about an inch and a half thick.

Brisket sandwich was pretty good. There was an interesting taste which I couldn't place (maybe horseradish sauce). Sides are free with main (contrary to what was previously posted. I guess they changed the policy). We got rosemary sweet potato fries. Best sweet potato fries I have ever tasted. I mean a perfect 10. And we got the french fried with sea salt, also very good. I've heard complaints  that portions were small. Maybe another change, but I beg to differ. They weren't huge, but they were ample.

I think that's about it. IMHO currently the best "mafia hashgacha" restaurant in the country. In the words of the 'nator: "I'll be back"

Not by other peoples actions...
Can you elaborate on their tactics?
i once read an article on how badatz beis yosef employs mafia tactics
Sounds least surprising, for some odd reason.  Nor would I consider eidah a surprise.
But I was unaware of Rubin...
My entire meal, including a Sprite was 313NIS. That's far from outrageous
Thank you, only now you tell me that you got a Sprite?!  No wonder it came out to 313!

Was that for a couple?
