You have to be friends with the chef ;)

How can I do that? I bought him some presents a while ago from Amazon back to Israel so I think we are friends.

I'm not sure it's appropriate for you to be friends with the chef. Moishe may not appreciate that.

I was also there around that time, the quality and presentation of the food didn't exactly appeal to me

I've heard good things about it, both the food and location.
But don't schlepp up there just for that.

Went to Ricotta in Har Chofzim. Excellent food. Very friendly staff. Soups were good (I had the bean - you have to like spicey), my granddaughter the sweet potato and loved it. They even let her try it first. Didn't have too varied a dinner between the three of us, but what we did have was very good. Some kind of spaghetti dish, two different gnochis, one with multiple cheeses and sweet potatoe, one was Alfredo. Didn't do desert, too full. Bill was 223 shekel and they tagged on the 18% tip. We sat there a very long time and no one bothered us. I guess if it was packed they would have given us a hint. Nice ambience as well.

The exact address is Har Hotzvim, Science Park 3. I don't know if this helps but it's across the street from Entrecote. Be careful. Upstairs is a fleishig place, they are downstairs.
