batchys house.
I was never able to get reservations. Tougher then Tierra Sur in LA. Make reservations at least a month in advance.
You have to be friends with the chef ;)
I'm not sure it's appropriate for you to be friends with the chef. Moishe may not appreciate that.
How can I do that? I bought him some presents a while ago from Amazon back to Israel so I think we are friends.
Its a personal joke... :) but he happens to make a great bbq
So I hear.. Who wants to push him to come Sunday?

ROTFLMAO!!! You guys are too cute. ;D ;D ;D

Correct. I have done it before. Called Sevivas Shearim- hundreds of ppl leave from Kosel plaza and dance/walk through the Arab areas and all other parts of old city. Boys and girls are separate. Very powerful event. Dont know exactly what night they do it but its always around rosh chodesh time... some chabad guy is in charge

Side note: there was a story going around about some guys who asked the owner of Dex what the hashgacha was. His response was "if you care enough to actually ask that question, then this place is probably not for you."[/i]

I have gotten that response a Number of times in Israel.

Just back from Israel. Just to confirm what others have said. Rimon, always dependable good. Not always great, but very good. We went to the one in Mamilla. Entrecote was very good. Papagaio was very good. Most ordered that Brazilian all you can eat, and they do keep coming. Greens bagels melt in your mouth. Belinda has good breakfast/lunch. Keyara also very good. Bring a bank roll with you!

Downstairs by the Wolfson buildings in Rechavia - on Diskin. There's a shopping center down there.
