Quick review of Noya. (Plz note that I'm not accustomed to fine dining, so take my reviews with a grain of salt)

Used a coupon from the moadon I have through work, and paid 228sh.

Received the following (review is out of 5):
Focaccia - standard, no need to comment

Beef Carpaccio - 3* - I thought the balsamic taste was a bit strong, and took away slightly from the taste of the meat. (Of course, that may the entire purpose of it.)

Warm Mushroom salad with chicken - 5* - well flavored, generous portion and tasty.

Entrecote stuffed with lamb - 3.5* - Only available medium well done, and I prefer medium rare. Nice size piece.

Chicken Tenderloin with Apricots and Sweet potato puree - 4* - Nice taste and moist

Toffee with chocolate and nut topping - 3*

Ambiance - 4.5* - I was happy with their choice of relaxing music, and the service was prompt. (Helps that it wasn't too busy at the time)

start with egged (961,962) to Tiveria, then Afikim (450) to Tzefas than Nativ express (many lines) to meron & 982 back to Jerusalem.

I'm considering staying at the Mount Zion Hotel (only rabbanut, but seems to be a great value with a pool and nice rooms). it is on Hebron road going up to Ma'ale Hashalom road, and walking to the kotel per google would be 25 minutes through the dung gate. Is this a dangerous route (google maps shows lots of jews but never know)? any thoughts on the hotel or route? is it a very steep hill?
