List of TR's:

Kosher Food/ Restaurants:
Pita Planet located at 4025 N. Kings HWY Unit 5 has Mediterranean style meat/vegetarian food. (under Chabad of Myrtle Beach supervision).
The Food Lion located at 1241 38th Avenue North has a selection of staples and even kosher meat (Empire).
The owner of Pita Planet opened a makolet style grocery with more kosher products than Food Lion - call for more info. They also have hot plates etc. for rent.
Jerusalem Mediterranean Restaurant & Bar is NOT kosher.

Things to Do:
Lots and lots of mini golf places, here's one that's up the block from the Hilton; https://myrtlebeachfamilygolf.com/captain-hooks/
Rockin' Jump Trampoline Park - https://rockinjump.com/myrtlebeach/
Outdoor water park  - https://www.myrtlewaves.com/
Go karts - https://broadwaygrandprix.com/go-kart-tracks/

Hotels:
https://www.dunesvillage.com/ - Very dated but has 2 indoor water parks so it's nice in the winter especially since it's off season so it's ridiculously cheap and amazingly empty! Not walkable to chabad but about 15 minutes from Beth El
https://www3.hilton.com/en/hotels/south-carolina/ocean-22-by-hilton-grand-vacations-MYRTTGV/index.html - nice modern hotel with suites only. About 20 min walk to chabad

I flew Spirit from LGA to Myrtle Beach, did not enjoy it, though the Airport in Myrtle Beach was great.  Apparently people fly american or Delta into NC and drive into MB.

Anyone know how Uber is in Myrtle Beach? It seems like they are regulated by the city.

Can I rely on it instead of getting a rental?

I used uber there about 15 months ago with no issues for 5 days. Did not get a rental.

I recommend getting a rental there.  Things are also close enough to each other that a car won't always be necessary, but I was very happy that I had a rental.

Went there in march, weathr was nice.  try googling the monthly weather pattern.  There is kosher food; the big supermarket there has a kosher freezer section and there is a very good, but pricey, israeli restaurant (meat) and several ice cream stores and donut stores there have hashgachas from the vaad of new england, not sure why from there.  Plenty to do for kids, mini golf all around.  Almost every hotel has a mini indoor water park.

Hi
Thanks for answering
Will do. I was told the vaad of New England isn't great...
Any specific activities you did?
Thanks again

The vaad of New England is what they use at all the kosher places in Stamford, CT, so they are reliable IMO.

We did the ferris wheel and went to a cool museum, kind of like a ripleys, but cooler, I totally forgot the name.  They have an area with a few museums, a "boardwalk" and shops, it's cool.  If I remember, I'll repost.

Which airport in NC?  It can be a 3 hour drive

Had a 2 hour layover here and went to 2nd ave pier. It cost $2 to enter and has nice views of MB.

If it's not free shipping it's not worth it.

Any recent info?
I was there last mid feb - the weather was like 65/70.. Now will be colder...
There are two minyanim: Beth El & also a chabad.
Activities: Most hotels have lots of kid activities. There are miniature golf courses on eery block corner... theres a skywheel ... theres broadway at the beach (has lots of attractions there - but only the bigger things are open in winter. Smaller stuff only open from march and on).... And not all that much more to do :)
Food: The supermarket had some kosher in frozen section. I dont remember that much, but I know we got frozen burgers from there. If i had to guess they prob have blintzes, soups, and a few basics...
