List of TR's:

Kosher Food/ Restaurants:
Pita Planet located at 4025 N. Kings HWY Unit 5 has Mediterranean style meat/vegetarian food. (under Chabad of Myrtle Beach supervision).
The Food Lion located at 1241 38th Avenue North has a selection of staples and even kosher meat (Empire).
The owner of Pita Planet opened a makolet style grocery with more kosher products than Food Lion - call for more info. They also have hot plates etc. for rent.
Jerusalem Mediterranean Restaurant & Bar is NOT kosher.

Synagogue:

Things to Do:
Lots and lots of mini golf places, here's one that's up the block from the Hilton; https://myrtlebeachfamilygolf.com/captain-hooks/
Rockin' Jump Trampoline Park - https://rockinjump.com/myrtlebeach/
Outdoor water park  - https://www.myrtlewaves.com/
Go karts - https://broadwaygrandprix.com/go-kart-tracks/
https://www.ripleys.com/myrtlebeach/

Hotels:
https://www.dunesvillage.com/ - Very dated but has 2 indoor water parks so it's nice in the winter especially since it's off season so it's ridiculously cheap and amazingly empty! Not walkable to chabad but about 15 minutes from Beth El
https://www3.hilton.com/en/hotels/south-carolina/ocean-22-by-hilton-grand-vacations-MYRTTGV/index.html - nice modern hotel with suites only. About 20 min walk to chabad

I stayed at the "Sheraton Broadway Plantation Resort Villas". The villas itself are pretty standard and very spacious, the grounds are beautiful, and pricing is decent.

There are two shuls chabad and a Sephardi shul. Decide which u want to go to and check air bnb or other rental websites.

We mostly stuck around our resort (pools/beach). But we did do some of the following stuff over the years (caveat, haven't been there post-covid):
- Barefoot Landing (T.I.G.E.R.S., Carousel)
- Broadway at the Beach (Mirror Maze, Wonder Works, Old Tyme Portraits)

Younger aged kids loved all the above. Haven't gone since my kids got older so I haven't done the "more exciting" stuff yet.

We love that there's kosher food, nice resorts, short flight from NJ, and minimal frum (vacationing) jews (hope it doesn't get more popular now ;) )

Anything kosher in the area besides for the restaurant, such as ice cream stores or Krispy kreme?
Jury Duty: Nothing to do there but chill and write a TR. Kinda like the beach but missing the view and ocean breeze.

As per recommendation from this thread, I visited Food Lion which had a very nice selection. Pm for pics of all the kosher inventory

Looks like they moved about a year ago. Wonder if they got kosher certification since then; though I don't see anything on their website/social media.

Did you try contacting the shul and/or Jerusalem? I'm intrigued

Jerusalem is owned by a Shomer shabbos Jew (being not kosher is purely a business decision). When the Shul uses him for parties he comes and cooks in the Shul.

Interesting, thanks.

Happy he's shomer shabbos, but there are some other halachic issues with this.

It’s irrelevant. The Shul and the rabbi aren’t going to a not kosher restaurant is the point.

As long as he has a good mashgiach when he cooks in the shul because he would likely be considered chashud considering that he cooks and benefits from basar bicholov for profit.
