Definitely considering it, but every time I call on this reservation they seem to mess it up and I spend and hour getting it back to the way it was. Was hoping someone might just tell me it looks normal and to disregard.

ItIt looks normal. Sometimes it will say I class requested on the side and sometimes it will show as a separate segment.

I have a Plan B set up for TLV-EWR for next week,

Has anyone ever succeeded getting PR-1 status at TLV and/or clearing business when it didn't clear automatically 24h prior?

Looking for any useful info and tips to make it happen

24H within flight, is it possible to check-in online and then call UA to get put on the upgrade list? Or only at airport (in TLV not sure how helpful airport will be)

Will plan B get you free luggage on a domestic flight ?

Flying with a party of 4 will they upgrade one at a time if they becoma avail ? if only one seat opens at the airpot can you decline the upgrade and still get refunded ?

Out of curiosity, why are there still 2 seats in J that are orange? Does it just mean that two people didn't choose their seats?

Correct. Or a TA is holding the seats. Or if its T-24 its possible that they just closed the inventory.

They can also hold seats for pilot rest. And not everyone picks a seat.

I have a feeling a few people are holding seats to increase their Plan B chances. Went from like F7 to F0 in 2 days. Who books that close in for Hawaii?

In the end I gave up waiting for a Plan B. Instead, I found a flight that goes AMS-FRA-IAD-LAX, but despite the two stops it still gives me BF for the last two legs. It also gives me an extra 3 hours in AMS before I leave, so the day actually has some potential rather than being a complete loss (2:30pm departure vs. 11:30am).

Since my first leg is Economy, does anyone know how that affects check in? Will I get to use the BF line and have my bags checked as BF?

Also, assume I need to pick up my checked bags and clear customs in IAD?

Its showing 0 miles were used for my reservation but it is also showing I class requested? Any reason to believe its not setup properly? It deducted 140K from my account.
