what card is best to use in canada

There are prob tons of threads out there- but Im leaving soon and dont have time to look through all of em
Please post simple responses. Which card is best to use in canada? I wanna avoid paying any border fee's and prefferably have protection.

I own a:
Chase Sapphire- Freedom- Marriot- United
Amex Hilton- Spg- Green Card

I prefer to use Chase Freedom-

Usually depends on the location of the merchant, not at type of currency being charged, meaning if the merchant is based in the u.s. = no fee, but if they're foreign based there is a fee even if its being charge in u.s. funds

Just as a btw- the Marriot Premier card has no foreign transaction Fee. I did some research online and confirmed it with chase.
