Are you planning to switch to a direct flight with ELAL?
« on: August 09, 2012, 04:10:28 PM »
I'm thinking I MIGHT switch just because I am coming from the mid-west and will have two stopovers otherwise.

On the other hand I'd like to earn more miles and I'd rather not have to fork over more $$ so I may just stay with what I originally booked.

DEC-11 - DEC 30

When are you guys travelling?

Why do we only get half the amount of miles with Elal?

I would like to change my return flight to a non stop.

Does anybody know if they will be flexible with the dates allowing me to stay an additional day or 2?

I would imagine for a lot of people paying extra would not be worth it.

For those folks booked with many young children or coming from a different city I can see them changing to the non-stop more easily.

I'm coming from la. If they let me switch to the lax tlv nonstop, I'd pay an extra 150 rt on top of the requested 150.
for now, I'm kind of excited to stop in Zurich for  5 hours. As for the return, 2 1/2 hours in London is just a waste of time in the airport.

Wow- that would be awesome if they did allow that.

Curious as to why only via email, wouldn't that be a big hassle, of going back and forth which times and flights?
And why are they making you wait until the 14th? Should I try emailing them b4?

If I'm able to do any touring in 5 hours in Paris or 7 hours in London I'll keep the stopovers. If that's not enough time to do anything I''ll change them to directs. Any advice?

I think I'm going to switch just the way to Israel not the way back.
