With an 21 month old, I feel like I'd rather get off for a few hours halfway there, than flying 2 hours and then ten. Also it's $75pp each way which (with the baby booked in a regular seat) is $450. I'm happy with the $1,260 I paid for 3 RT tickets from ORD. Doesn't need to be another $450 on top plus the 30K Avios to get to JFK.
Lol, probably worthwhile if free just to bypass LHR. Just use Avios.
Did anybody get any calls from El AL? I got like 2 of them asking me if I am interested in switching, They called like at 1PM and like 3PMSo maybe just wait for them to call you
Cool. I wonder if we're going to start seeing seeing seats on flights previously "unavailable" suddenly start opening up...If they can give me the flight I want, then I may actually change (one way).. o/w wait and see if they get on their knees
Last week they actually called me twice and were trying to get me to agree to non-stop flight, I told them not to call me unless you can put me on a specific flight, which of course they said NO.
How do they have your phone #? I never got a call (as I don't recall providing anyone with my phone number).
Did you call the automated system to change to a direct flight?
I never emailed or provided my # to anyone and still got a call yesterday. I'm sure the reservations contained phone #s.
8 days and 6 attempts, still no luck getting on any of the direct flights I want.
2 seats, as the Israeli El Al rep put it "in middle of November 26 and 27". In English, the midnight flight Monday night, preferably to EWR.
They released very few (if any) of the night flights. everyone I know is on the morning flight
I got the night flight ewr>tlv, and the offered me a night flight Wednsday night
On the return?
Good luck. Doesn't seem to be available. I'm on the Monday 940am because no late pm early am availability.
