What people are saying is that While it is very likely that the direct United flight will not go down to saver level there is a good chance that you wil be able to use those same United miles to book on a different airline like turkish, Lufthansa, Swiss etc.

If your'e leaning toward revenue the best choice would be Aeroflot for $530.

Or you can use UR Travel to purchase the Aeroflot ticket for 43,335 UR points. Or Ukraine Int's for 44,111 UR points. And that's all inclusive, no extras for taxes etc.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Or you can sell 33,125 UR and buy that ticket yourself.

Is that what you're paying today for 33,125 UR? (1.6 cents)

I'm sorry for the off topic question. If I cancel award from NYC-TLV within 24 hours, do they refund full amount?

I always get better deals with Ukraine Air ($365). United via Turkish award is more expensive (42,500 + $11.30). I don't see a reason to use points

Using points for an Economy ticket NYC-TLV rarely makes sense (though it might be different for one ways). Even in J one often gets better revenue deals than anything available with points, and one doesn't have to waste hours searching and researching options.

Hence
Didn't realize you were asking about OW. I was referring to RT.
And please tell me the FULL amount from NYC to TLV including the value of the miles plus YQ.

I was told that there is no YQ for UA TLV-NYC booked with SQ.

I see one date EWR-TLV (09/25/16), and 3 dates TLV-EWR.(08/23/16, 08/26/16, 12/25/16), that are currently displaying on United's calendar as available in the next year.
