Yup and I have the card. Though I think I'd feel bad using the points it at a hotel in Tel Aviv but it def looks really nice. We'll see! :)

Last time I went I was a few short in my account (I believe I had 38k) and the PC rep topped off my account.

That's nice! A little thing that shows good customer service.

Aside from late checkout, they provided me with:
-room upgrade
-welcome box of chocholate and bottle of wine
-free wifi
-free minibar

I would also recomend taking advantage of the business lounge there if they offer you a good deal on checkin. They offered it combined with breakfast (addl) and it was worth every penny.
they gave you free minibar just for being plat?

I got all the rest of the benefits but not the free minibar and they wanted $60 a day for the business lounge
it CAN be done!

I received a welcome gift choc with fruit in my room along with a letter. The letter stated that I was entitled to free wi-fi and mini bar beverages. They did charge me, but upon checkout I showed them the letter and they reversed the charges.

they wanted $60 a day for the business lounge

I was with two friends. At check-in, they offered me breakfast (which included lounge) for $30/pp we settled on $70 total.
