the + of having an Israeli account is that a lot of companies stop taking US cc because people screwed them. I try helping bochrim by paying with my Israeli DC when they screwed up (but of course I take cash upfront they shouldn't screw me too)
But still any DC what has no FT charges and no ATM charges is the best option
