Does anyone have any experience with Europcar in Ben Gurion?

I just got off the phone with Europcar in tlv, and my $230 rental will end up costing me (cdw is waived thru world mc) $700!! About $44 a day!
Although its still the cheapest i found, Im seriously thinking of taking my Avis rental at $850 a day, because I think it will have less issues. Any thoughts??

What is the additional $470 for? Did they actually confirm that they will accept your WMC for CDW coverage? (They told me they wouldn't)

Yes they confirmed the WMC coverage. The other fees were 22 euro a day for other insurances, and "airport taxes and fees"

I assume the "other insurances" referred to "TP" (third party liability)?

When I reserved through 121carhire, it said that the rate includes "Third party liability protection (TP)", which should mean that I don't have to pay anything more than the base rate.  Of course I'm relying on the outside change that the rental broker and Europcar will all honor their commitments, but I guess that's why you should always have a backup.  The only wrinkle in this case, is that I've already paid in full for the rental.
