so i'm oming back from iceland in the summer through fra and i'm going lh f.  whats the min amount of time i need to properly enjoy the fct?  how long before i fly should i email them about a kosher meal?       as of now it's only a 90 minute stopover (but arriving and departing from terminal 1 which is supposed to be right next to the fct))

What does that mean "according to star k"?  Who'd you speak to at star k?  A rabbinical authority?  Or a secretary (who IME usually have no clue what the #@*% they're talking about)?

I'm not privy to what the Kashrus situation is in Germany, but I can tell you that Rabbi Menachem Klein is a Nadvorna Chusid, is the community Rabbi, and seems like an ehrliche yid.  Now, does that make it a reliable Hashgocho?  Not necessarily, however I'm very curious as to if indeed Star K says they're not reliable.  I wouldn't so readily dismiss the Hechsher as unreliable, IMHO it makes more sense to ask the local Shluchim in Frankfurt, as opposed to some folks sitting in Baltimore.

Unless you have the lounge club membership card that used to come with ink your out of luck.

If you have the United Club card you can get in w/ a guest. I just used it this week. They did not let a business passenger bring a guest, but did allow w/Club Card.
