Anyone know what type of VIP stuff I get by flying LH First Class from SIN-FRA and then again LH First from FRA-TLV?

Have a read through Dan's trip report on the main sight. Pretty thorough write up of Lufthansa First and pics of everything.

Nice. Dan, I picked 83A & C before I even saw that you sat there, but for one trip I wanted to try the other side, H & K. Do you advise against it? Is 83AC THE BEST?

IIRC, 83H/K has a permanent stand in front of you.
In 83AC a stand is only there prior to takeoff, although you do have a FA directly facing you during takeoff/landing, but for the duration of the flight 83AC is much better.

Definitely recommend 83AC all the way, although LH First really can't compare to LX First.  Although nothing can touch the FCT in FRA, but it is a pain to find and get to.

Thanks, I confirmed 83AC for all 3 flights that I will be on that type of plane.

Just found out from Thai that in the 1-2-1 config, both "2" seats are taken and therefore I had to grab 1A and 2A. Maybe someone will switch with us.

Dan, any insight on how to get to the FCT in FRA and what I need to know? I will be having a 6 hours stopover. You also mentioned that if you order in advance you can get Kosher food. Who do I call?

You need to go outside security.
Either you can go to First Class check-in and they'll provide transportation or you can just make a left outside the airport and walk for 5 minutes to the FCT.  Once there ring the bell and someone will escort you inside.
Be sure to let them know it's a special occasion and you want the Porsche to take you to the plane.

Try emailing LH in TLV to order kosher meals in FRA at: tlvgpmiles@dlh.de

Let me know if they are able to do that as otherwise I have a phone number somewhere that also may be able to arrange them.

So when exactly were you driven to the plane in a porsche? For your next flight? Can I be driven (by any car for that matter) FROM my SIN-FRA First Class flight to the FCT upon arrival?

I will e-mail LH TLV and let you know what the response is.

Thanks.

I don't think they'll pick you up from the flight, but you can try.
They will drive you from the FCT to the plane.

Playing disabled and requesting special assistance would do the trick, but won't advise it.

Till the fct I had a 40 mins walk. Following dans advice when walking outside (to the left) its seems like you are walking the direction of a highway or so...

you obviously don't know FRA, He probably landed somewhere else.

I once had to almost jog for 50 minutes to catch my connecting flight over there.

50 minute jog, lol.

But FRA is very very big.  But we were still able to run the length of the entire airport in just over 10 minutes when connecting from CDG to VCE.  We ran like hell, it's entirely possible that it was about 2 miles.

The 5 minutes is once you get outside, figure on a 10-30 minute walk from your gate just to get outside.  My wife thought I was nuts, but later agreed it was totally worth it.

Also everyone in the airport will deny existence of the FCT to you and direct you to the regular FCL.  We were told by a few agents it didn't exist and by one agent that it could not be reached by connecting passengers. Hogwash.

Yes, for some strange reason, no one knows of the fct. Or they are not supposed to talk about it?

Your wife thought you were nuts, and after running the marathon, she was too exhausted to think, so you just un-nutted.

My dear friend, not in FRA, or CDG or AMS will you run in 10 minutes from one side of the airport to another. Not even in BRU from B70 to A70 (some call the A terminal also M terminal, but by people using the A/M schengen terminal, its affectionately known as "the yimach shemoy terminal")
