I think they are always having issues and lost it a bunch of times. Prob better to stay away and just go to halo taiman around the corner, As for the falafel place on yoel across from mussaif they have a sort of fried pita that that can put it in which is amazing plus they get their lafas fresh from next door right when you order

Nope its different then malawach. Malawach is fried pastry dough while this is the same dough as a pita just fried instead of baked.

Besides for Malawach they also have this  funky looking pita sized spongy  fried dough with lots of tiny holes. I have never had it, bit it looks scary. You can also go next door and get some fresh Lafa made by a 100 year old lady in a brick wood fired pit

Best falafel in town is by far uzis on yeshayahu a block up from brisk every cab driver and bus driver stop there

While I didn't go running all over town on my last couple of visits, I do have to say that Uzi's was SIGNIFICANTLY better tasting than anything else I tried (maybe three other places).

Worth a try IMO.

Why can't they make good falafels in America? I will never understand it.
          And the pitas here? Eh.

Whenever I'm in Montreal I bring a suitcase back of the pitas made there. THOSE are comparable to Israeli Pitas.

In Yerushalayim I like the Falafel at Rav Shefa.

I also enjoy many of the CafeCafe locations for a nice milchig/parve meal.

Personally I don't find their falafel to be so great. I guess it's a matter of taste, so everyone will have a falafel place that he will prefer to go to...

CafeCafe rocks! They are located everywhere. I found one at some run down petrol station in the middle of nowhere.  Always good to grab something to eat, but I still wouldn't rely on the name for good food as every place is very different.
