Just finished watching those Rav Pesach krohn videos to eastern europe and Im inspired.

DISC 1: Frankfurt Legacy / A Shul of Survival / Mekomos Hakedoshim / Rav Shamshon R. Hirsch / The Yenukah, Rav Amnon / Rabbeinu Gershom
**DISC 2: Worms / Prague / On the Bus / Theresienstadt
**DISC 3: Holeshov / Shach / Nikolsburg / Pressburg / Vienna / Farewell

I'd like to visit these places at my own pace say 10 days. Any ideas on how to plan? To fly in/stay.

I was on one of those trips about 6 years ago, it was really amazing, some group members wanted to visit cities that were not on the itinerary so they took a day by themselves and met up with the group that night.
Im not sure in Pesach Krohn does it anymore, but it was really an amazing trip. Great food and nice hotels all the time.
The worst part was the border getting into Belarus. I went two summer in row, once to Eastern Europa and the next summer through Central Europa. Prague was amazing and the dancing in the street outside the Jewish Cemetery right in middle of down town was really nice.

The group experience was amazing.

But to answer your question, there are specific threads about specific cities try to search for them, Through central Europa I can see why it can be nice by yourself.

Is it feasable to go by train from Vienna to Prauge and then to Frankfort and rent a car in each city or just rent in vienna and drive the whole thing and I assume return the car in Frankfort (if thats allowed?).

Also, any suggestions as to where to stay in the above cities. We would be 3 adults (a couple and an older lady).

I assume we would fly into vienna and fly out from frankfort. (even though the tour seems to do the reverse).

If anyone want Isreal in the Teverya-Tzefas area i did this today:
Today we woke up at 5AM and went to Tzefas, we stopped at the arizals Mikva and went to the local kevorim there, some include.
-Bayis Yosef
-R' Yosef Karo
-The Ari
-The Alshech
-Chana Vishiva baneha
From there we went to Amuka, but got lost in travel and didn't make it.
We drove to R' Shimon Bar Yochi, and got a minyan for shachris
Next we stopped by the Kinnert and enjoyed the yam.
From there we went to Tiberis And went to the ever of the Ramba"m, which includes, his father, the Shel"a, The Amorim (R' ami, R' Asi R' Yochanoon and others) We drove a little futher and got top the kevorim of Rav's Talmidim. Next we went to the Kever of R' Chia U'Banov, followed by Rochel -Akiva's wife.
Last was R' Meir Bal Hanas where we davened Mincha.
