I would recommend downloading the graphics drivers from the computer manufacturer and not the graphics manufacturer, sometimes the pc manufacturer uses specific version of specific drivers to help it work optimally with the pc.

Ok i did that. I downloaded the Intel High-Definition (HD) Graphics Driver with Turbo Boost Technology from hp. After it installed it automatically put the screen at 1024 x 768 meaning not full screen. I was able to switch it to full screen ;1366 x 768. Is there a way to know if i have the proper driver installed?

honestly I didn't test it yet, but as a technician don't you feel limited by these devices that don't give you the full power you're accustomed to?

Random issue
The clock on my pc is slow. I haven't found any pattern yet but even after syncing it didn't take long before it's slow again

Yeah a few years old
It's an XPS M2010 Desktop replacement. A real hunk of junk IMHO. The main battery is pretty much gone so i assume the cmos battery is gone as well
Although would a dead cmos battery affect the clock if the computer is almost always on?

Look up the computer model and you'll see any repairs on this are a real PITA.

Besides I don't know if I want to fix it. I had downloaded a 7 day trial of myspeed only to have it give  me 12 days but as soon as I synced my clock it instantly expired.

its a $2 battery, its worth the investment if thats the only issue, imho don't download any cleaning programs the all slow down the pc, the only program I use os ccleaner and its pretty good, there are also multiple dif things you can do to speed it up as I mentioned in previous posts - for example cleaning temp, removing unwanted programs, running defragmentation tool etc

OT: A fan broke on my desktop and it now doesn't work for more five minutes, would replacing the fan help, or it is doomed already?

if its the processor CPU fan then it definitly will help, even the system fan - Very possible replacing the fan would help, especially if you have an amd processor. AMD rruns notoriously hot and they have a built in protection that shuts off the system when it feels its overheating in order to protect the processor.

Myspeed isn't a pc fixer. It's a program that I use to speed up online videos.

I'm a fan of ccleaner too as well as revo uninstaller

The most effective is to do a factory reset.

Oh, and it was reaaaaaal easy to search for that one.
It's not about the quantity of your posts.  It's about the quality.

I recently bought a Latitude E5530, as far as I had read it should be a great machine but somehow this is acting up at me, it freezes here and there, it takes a while until it boots up, these things really shouldn't happen, and I cant work like this,
now my question is, do you think i might have a problem with my computer ( which i highly doubt since its brand new and didn't abuse it ) or I need to upgrade to something better?

I requested a return label from dell and I need to send back my laptop withing 5 days so I really need to know what to do, TIA.
