@ChaimMoskowitz what do you suggest?
You can drop the tank without a garage but it isn't any fun.
I just found a new supply of forks!

There is also the possibility it is the relay. Either way I prefer the shop.

Well now the battery is dead after all my trial and error trouble shooting so won't help to play with the relays. Will report back tomorrow on the results.

Mechanic said it seems like the fuel pump or a wiring which was melted under the fuel tank, so either way he said he would need to remove the fuel tank and see what's happening there.
Will wait for tom to call back, as he didn't call me.

Hard on systems like this. They need an access panel in the trunk.

Now with the results, or rather semi results.
(This is more like a semi trip report!) ;) Lol

It seemed the fuel pump was the issue along with a melted 4 pin connector running to the fuel pump. Had that changed and seemed to solve the problem.
Went to pick it up today, but when I turned on the vehicle I saw the check engine light,so first thought that came to mind was that the fuel pump was just replaced so the engine light is on and needs the car to be driven a bit so it can register that the fuel pump was replaced and not an issue. Now being that the issue was fuel related, I looked at the gauge, the fuel indicator to see how much gas is in the vehicle but saw it at the bottom, as if there's no gas. Then looked at the digital reading and saw a reading with some blank lines.
So went back to ask if he put gas back or I need to fill up. He answered he put it back and it should show on the dashboard how much is inside the tank. But after looking, he said to himself it seems like the float for the fuel pump wasn't put back, as that's the indicator which reflects on the dashboard.
So tomorrow morning will be back to visit to have the fuel tank dropped again and put the float back on.
He claims his worker forgot to put it on as on most vehicles there's a new float with the new pump, while GM doesn't put a new float and requires you to remove it from the old pump and replace with the new pump. So hence he forgot to replace it from the old to new.

I meant to ask about my fuel system, other known as the safety recovery system, or vacuum system which suctions the fuel fumes which is being pump into the tank and not into the air, as it's bad enough your in the gas station which stinks like gasoline, so to avoid more of the fumes and which can be dangerous the system pulls the fumes into the tank. Now should the vehicle sense that the fumes is escaping, the pump will click and stop pumping. (which required you to keep on clicking the pump handle to pump gas which would take forever.)
While that was an issue on my car as well, I totally forgot to mention that to him, while he had my tank removed. So I guess it's a good thing in a way that he is removing the tank again, even thought I would have loved to have the repair finished by today/yesterday and not have to kill another 3 hours in the morning.

@ChaimMoskowitz  By any chance you know what this part I'm referring to is called? Has a more exact name? Or if it's connected to the tank or a separate connection?

Not sure what you are referring to. This isn't for your make but gives the general idea how it works. See if this article helps.

Anyone get a blower motor replaced on their Toyota Sienna? I feel like the new one (aftermarket part) is making more noise than the first defective one.

Real big complex system.
Found this to be very informative.
Seems like the EVAP canister or the charcoal canister is the problem.

Lesson learnt, Don't top up your tank!

Very good article.
