Whats a Desktop Deal:

There are many factors you need to take into account in order to make something a deal. Manufacturer, Product line, Specs and warranty are usually what to look at when figuring that out. You need to consider prices as well, sometimes you get a price so hot that it doesn't matter what company it is.

Generally speaking here are the guidelines for Intel processors:

i3 8th Gen processor - Under $300 is usually a hot deal, Under $350 is decent
i5 8th Gen Processor - Under $400 is a Usually a Hot Deal
i7 8th Gen Processor - Under $600 is a Usually Hot Deal

to be continued....

ISO a decent specs desktop for a decent price of course... was looking on this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883156238 +$20 off or maybe I should just get this http://www.staples.com/Dell-Inspiron-I660-3049BK-Desktop-PC/product_12241 . Any suggestions?? TIA ya all!
Personally I favor the i5 over the i3. I have both and I do think you will see significant differences. Unless of course you plan on just using it for light web browsing/simple spreadsheets and wordsheets in which case and i3 will be just fine. Pricewise they aren't amazing. I think stores tend to hike the prices up this time of year to make it seem as if BF/CM actually have great sales.

That's just my personal opinion...

Any great deals out there today for a home desktop?  Needs to have DVD and basic applications - nothing too fancy.  Kids mostly use it for pictures, videos and school work.
