Whats a Desktop Deal:

There are many factors you need to take into account in order to make something a deal. Manufacturer, Product line, Specs and warranty are usually what to look at when figuring that out. You need to consider prices as well, sometimes you get a price so hot that it doesn't matter what company it is.

Generally speaking here are the guidelines for Intel processors:

i3 8th Gen processor - Under $300 is usually a hot deal, Under $350 is decent
i5 8th Gen Processor - Under $400 is a Usually a Hot Deal
i7 8th Gen Processor - Under $600 is a Usually Hot Deal

to be continued....

Wrong.

Intel Core i3-4350 @ 3.60GHz  - 5218

Intel Core i3-3240 @ 3.40GHz - 4320.

Also the one I posted has really great motherboard that can handle 32GB RAM and is a very solid machine. It has a 3 year warranty, can handle 3 monitors without even adding a graphics card. You can add 4 more drives, has built in raid, dual pci e cards and many many other pros. It was built for business and made to work fast and well. The HP is much weaker, its a crappy machine disguised as a business workstation, it maxes out at 8GB ram and has a sub par motherboard.

True but the ram is the least important when looking at specs because it is so cheap to upgrade especially in desktop although ram capacity is important

so if the original price is over $499 but now it's on sale for less the coupon will still work?
are you sure?

Yes. I did it for this exact computer but at the time it was $300.
