Whats a Desktop Deal:

There are many factors you need to take into account in order to make something a deal. Manufacturer, Product line, Specs and warranty are usually what to look at when figuring that out. You need to consider prices as well, sometimes you get a price so hot that it doesn't matter what company it is.

Generally speaking here are the guidelines for Intel processors:

i3 8th Gen processor - Under $300 is usually a hot deal, Under $350 is decent
i5 8th Gen Processor - Under $400 is a Usually a Hot Deal
i7 8th Gen Processor - Under $600 is a Usually Hot Deal

to be continued....

Lenovo Ideacentre 700 Desktop, Intel Core i7, 12GB Memory, 1TB Hard Drive, 2GB Graphics
For $699.99 Shipped from BJ'S

http://www.bjs.com/lenovo-ideacentre-700-desktop-intel-core-i7-12gb-memory-1tb-hard-drive-2gb-graphics.product.3000000000000603586?dimId=2002213&cm_mmc=Cheetah-_-Email-_-09%2F13%2F2016-_-30%25%20off%20storage%20for%20your%20home&cm_em=cw3323@gmail.com
Is it just me or is this a very solid deal?
Expect ally for video editing, it has a very solid CUDA graphics card. I'd just add an SDD and it would indeed be a powerhouse.

Am I missing something?

Failed Pci Compliancy since i am using a personal computer (Win 10 Pro) for remote login.

They told me i have to get a server 2012 then i can use RDP (its my only option)

I need the server for QB and Chrome and thats about it. Need just for one user.

What are my options to buy?

I don't have experience with this but I would say all you need the most basic version - essentials

Nice find!

If looking nice at this I'd personally (I'm no expert by any stretch) Consider the Lenovo posted earlier at bj's. Very similar specs, a little less RAM (12 Gb) but more than enough for the vast majority of people, and although the video card technically has a smaller quantity of memory than this one, IINM the fact that it is ddr5 possibly combined with newer design more than compensates. It retails for significantly higher than the one in this machine.

AND it is $50 cheaper.

Not sure whether Lenovo vs Dell is a factor.

For the record -- in case anyone is considering this computer, I just bought it from BJs, and it DOES come with a 110GB SSD for the operating system -- even though when I asked CS at BJs by chat online they told me that it does not.

Any deals this week?
I got a few Lenovo's earlier in the week from Woot. It looks like they have it back this afternoon. http://computers.woot.com/offers/lenovo-m700-intel-i3-128gb-ssd-tiny-desktop-10?ref=cp_cnt_gw_dly_img
To me they looked like great machines (would love  a professional's input here). Only thing is that since they are very small 1)they can't be 'souped up' too much 2) they need good ventilation (don't shtoop it in a tight area) 3)they have to be cleaned out every few months (which is very easy).
