Whats a Desktop Deal:

There are many factors you need to take into account in order to make something a deal. Manufacturer, Product line, Specs and warranty are usually what to look at when figuring that out. You need to consider prices as well, sometimes you get a price so hot that it doesn't matter what company it is.

Generally speaking here are the guidelines for Intel processors:

i3 8th Gen processor - Under $300 is usually a hot deal, Under $350 is decent
i5 8th Gen Processor - Under $400 is a Usually a Hot Deal
i7 8th Gen Processor - Under $600 is a Usually Hot Deal

to be continued....

Either way, it's been a few days now and there are other deals.

Here's one for $399 that I believe will solve your speed issues: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/lenovo-desktop-amd-a10-series-12gb-memory-2tb-hard-drive-black/4362103.p?skuId=4362103

If it's not free shipping it's not worth it.

How good of a deal would you rate this?
For the specs it is pretty good deal. (it is not that much of a מציאה because it's a deal that is frequently available, although no one can assure that for the future. Also if you don't absolutely need Windows 7 I'd highly recommend against buying Windows 7 now, although you can still upgrade for free.)

I don't know anything about desktops. I need a quick computer. Found this, and the specs sound great, am I missing something?

Also, what is the deal with refurbished?

Would appreciate advice.

The specs are pretty good (though the CPU is more i3'ish), but refurbished is always good to buy from very reputable sellers, and this seller is pretty new.

Thanks for the advice about refurbished.

i3ish.. why is that? I was assuming A12 is pretty new.

It is AMD and not Intel. The A12 is - I'd say - performance wise between an i5 and an i3 (more to the i3.)

This Acer for $379 might be a good option http://www.officedepot.com/a/products/789119/Acer-Aspire-XC-Desktop-PC-Intel/?cm_mmc=Affiliates-_-CJ-_-598022-_-11272891

Thanks! looks like a great option.

Was just wondering; I wanted a fast processor more than 3.5 Does that make sense? Or is i5 3.3 good enough?
