Whats a Desktop Deal:

There are many factors you need to take into account in order to make something a deal. Manufacturer, Product line, Specs and warranty are usually what to look at when figuring that out. You need to consider prices as well, sometimes you get a price so hot that it doesn't matter what company it is.

Generally speaking here are the guidelines for Intel processors:

i3 8th Gen processor - Under $300 is usually a hot deal, Under $350 is decent
i5 8th Gen Processor - Under $400 is a Usually a Hot Deal
i7 8th Gen Processor - Under $600 is a Usually Hot Deal

to be continued....

What programs will you run
Basic programs for a family. Requires i5, SSD, DVD drive, and a nice amount of RAM for multiple logins. I haven't seen anything less than about $700.

INTELDAYS10 for $10 off
Very good. Thanks! What's the best way to buy from HP? Any credit card offers out there currently? Also, any thoughts re extended warranty from HP? I've been happy with Dell's extended warranty. They come to the house to fix any problem.

Thanks! Interested in the $626 model (the other one doesn't have an optical drive).
@Yisroel Tech any thoughts?
How does it compare to the HP?

Specs are basically the same (this one has double the storage, but the one in next post for $533.10 has the same 256GB.) I'd say Dell is better than HP. And also it's not a slim form factor which (unless needed for space-saving) is better.

Any good deals for all-in-one computer these days? Run a small business from home and use a few heavier programs like photoshop etc. I also need quite a bit of storage. Currently breaking 450 gb of storage on current device.

Thinking something like i5 with at least 8gb ram, at least 1tb of HDD, SDD would be a nice add on. Any leads?

No good deals due to covid-19 and windows 7 EOL. But you should be able to find those 2 options in a computer under $650 on dell.com or hp.com

Hey, why single me out?...  ;) :P

Not a lot of deals, but there are some. Which price/type of machine are you looking for?

Maybe go for this https://www.dell.com/en-us/work/shop/cty/pdp/spd/vostro-3471-desktop/smv3471w10ph207r5?cjevent=d8beff819b7311ea807008e30a240613&gacd=9646510-23736410-5750457-266322766-127797014&dgc=af&VEN1=12383016-600263-&dclid=CIrp07ecxekCFfbPyAode1cAWw#features_section for $549. Not cheap, but decent and decent specs.
