Whats a Desktop Deal:

There are many factors you need to take into account in order to make something a deal. Manufacturer, Product line, Specs and warranty are usually what to look at when figuring that out. You need to consider prices as well, sometimes you get a price so hot that it doesn't matter what company it is.

Generally speaking here are the guidelines for Intel processors:

i3 8th Gen processor - Under $300 is usually a hot deal, Under $350 is decent
i5 8th Gen Processor - Under $400 is a Usually a Hot Deal
i7 8th Gen Processor - Under $600 is a Usually Hot Deal

to be continued....

First, thank you DH Data for your help here.  Second, you say its a good deal, but not great.  How much lower a price would be considered a deal to take?

Also, the one review for that mentions no USB on the front, which is good to know.

Reviewer was referring to USB 3.0 - it has 4 reg usb in the front I beilieve. On a side note reviewer is an idiot! he gave it bad reviews because price dropped and it doesn't come with a printed manual???? WTH? If you need a manual to use a computer....

Aren't there downsides to an all in one?  One thing that goes, requires a new computer?

Acer isnt the highest quality.

This should be great for home use, I wouldn't recommend it for Business

Desktop are very dif than laptops - desktop is all components put together in a case - none of the internal components are made by acer. Laptops on the other hand - if the build quality isn't right - other parts will break and hinges, chasis, power etc will effect the rest of the laptop
