Continuing here from another thread, since I don't want to drag that one too far off topic...

Can I still do that after my reservation has been ticketed, and partially flown? I booked TLV-ZRH-JFK-[STOP+OJ]-CLE-LAX-[DEST+OJ]-EWR-TLV. I would have wanted a LAX-CLE return flight in there somewhere too, but they weren't giving it to me, so I just gave up and clipped it out. Any way to still tack it on, now that I've already flown the TLV-ZRH-JFK part?
Sure, if you're <plat there might be change fees depending on the IQ level of your agent. Ive had more luck with 18003961751 than the callback (both have no hold times, but these are stupider)

Does that apply as well if on a Star Alliance partner as well and want to get wait listed onto UA flight (same class, same routes, just would save me a stopover)?

Update: worked for me the other day. Waitlist didn't clear in the end, but at least we have proof-of-concept, since I got onto the waitlist successfully.
