Any way to get Quick Points Amex Gold

I need to get some extra points (without spending $$$). I currently have an Amex Gold. Any possiblilities with upgrading myslef and then canceling or possibly opening a new card???

You can open a Premier Gold and spend $1,000 on it ASAP.
You may need to clear out your browser's cache and cookies to see the 15,000 point signup bonus.
You will then have either 16,000 or 31,000 MR points.

I mean using that link to apply.  If you just call to change your Gold to Plat they prob. won't give you 25K.

If you log in to your account the offer may show up, if not call. I have upgraded to plat many times from the gold just for the 25,000 points.
