Amex Business Gold - 50K Points

I received this offer by mail Amex Business Gold, 50K point if you spend $5K by 11/30/2012.  Must apply by 8/28/12.
Is this an offer to jump on? What other Amex business card should I use for a 2BM/3BM?

I don't have any Amex cards currently - but have 2 Sapphire Preferred cards .  Any advice will be appreciated.

IMHO its a decent offer. Currently there only is 25k offers.

I would predict the the 75k offer will come back sometime soon, as it was twice avail in the past 3 months

I received this as a targeted offer back in July and took advantage of it for 50k after 5k spend. Now I got another targeted offer for 75k after 5k spend. What is the best way to take advantage of the second offer without risking not getting the points?

Best way it to have someone else in the household apply. You can also try to get them to comp your original app with another 25k since you have a 75k offer and you only got 50k.

However, I would like to inform you that as per the terms of the offer, bonus pints are not available to Cardmembers who have had this Card or any other Business Gold, Business Green or Business Platinum Card account within the last 12 months. .

I see that you have an active Business Platinum Card ending in 71002.

Therefore, I'm afraid, your account is not eligible for this promotion. However, if you are inquiring about any other bonus points kindly reply with more details.

I appreciate your understanding and I am sorry for the inconvenience caused. If there is any other way in which we may be of assistance, please contact us.
