wow... that new imac is unbelievable... 4 pounds lighter! 5mm thin!

EDIT: $200 more expensive for the 27" version than the one from last year (giving just a better processor and a 4gb ram boost... and a new design... not worth it IMO)

dont know the right thread, though, i recently bought another iphone (unlocked/jailbroken) on ebay, well it crashed today and i had to restore the whole thing, issue being now, its locked and i need it for IL any ideas? is there a way to downgrade back?

Did u make the mistake of restoring to a non jailbroken version (i.e. iOS 6), instead of restoring from a backup?

lol  yossi. it crashed and i thought it would restore it to ios 5  and not update it :-)  and name change it is at&t

well when iOS 6 is already out for the past few weeks, there is no reason they would restore iOS 5. And iTunes does not restore from a backup unless you right click and select "Restore from Backup".

If you have saved you SHSH blobs (with TinyUmbrella) when you were on iOS 5 you can downgrade back from iOS 6 to 5 using redsnow.

If not, oh well, enjoy iOS 6 and the new Apple Maps

well when iOS 6 is already out for the past few weeks, there is no reason they would restore iOS 5. And iTunes does not restore from a backup unless you right click and select "Restore from Backup".

If you have saved you SHSH blobs (with TinyUmbrella) when you were on iOS 5 you can downgrade back from iOS 6 to 5 using redsnow.

haahaa  well i tried re jailbreaking it, though i cant figure out how to down grade it bec in redsn0w once i select and stich i cant figure out what to after tha, also do i instal ipad baseband again? and the worst thing is i cant get past the welcome screen since i dont have a sim card that is active with AT&T  so basically the only way i can get in is if i emergency call 911, cancel and go in, but the new io6 doesnt me let even use any apps, or anything, so its a waste :-) so i dont even get bad maps, its back to printing ut from mapquest..lol

I m not sure why u r talking about ipad baseband in the middle of an iphone discussion. But basically, u bricked your iphone. If your iphone was unlocked before, then it is just a matter of inserting an at&t sim card the first time to pass the welcome screen.

the reason for ipad, is bec the newer iphones - wont get jailbroken, so i have to put ipad baseband on it
