I think that it's legal now a days to jailbreak an iPod that's what the apple guy told me bec he didn't wanna give me the code to unlock it he said just go online or pay someone to JB it

It was never illegal, apple hated it and said it would void the warranty but never illegal. There is one team of people that works on jailbreaking and it's always free.

Can anyone recommend a good one touch dialing app?

(No wonder apple has so many more apps than android! You need an app to do anything/everything with this phone. )

to get an app approved by apple it has to be at a certain standard, not every waste of time app the some guy and his dog built were accepted. Google on the other hand, were so desperate to get to apples numbers, literally accept every pos lousy build that gets submitted to them. They may have the same number now but apple store apps are in a much higher league.

Ok so this morning my father who has a new iphone got a text and responded and apparently it responded to EVERYONE who got the original text.

After searching the web I see this is a problem with iOS but I can't figure out how to fix it.

Needless to say he was not very happy about it. Can anyone help me out?

Well a group message is what it is... a group message. If he wants to respond only to one person on the distribution list, he needs to take that person's phone number and write him a separate text message. The button reply in iphone messages is always for "Reply to all". You can also disable Group Messages in Settings/Messages but if you do so, you will not get the responses from other people in the distribution list...

does anyone realize only one speaker on te 5 works (i think unless mines broken) the bigger one has all the sound when playing YouTube and such

Faster processor. Double ram. Stronger front glass. And "small" battery improvement. And of course LTE support

I heard this is just on paper as the difference is almost never felt.

Maybe true regarding the speed for most of the apps but if you look at apps launching, iphone boot and multitasking then u definitely feel the difference. I handled another 4s after having my 5 for a few weeks and then I felt it even more (the weight especially)

Finally got Sprint to agree to unlock the iphone we have on our account. They sent directions, which are shown for the older version of itunes. Tried following them but never was shown the message "congrats, your iphone is unlocked"

Did I do something wrong?
How can I tell if the iphone is indeed unlocked?

I had same issue. 2 things u can try. First would be to put a foreign sim in the phone and see if the phone doesn't say "Invalid SIM" or something like that. And second would be to call the carrier, give them the IMEI number and have them confirm that it is unlocked in their system.

Tried. Sprint is closed already. I am leaving early AM and would like to just confirm it is unlocked. Unfortunately I don't have any other SIMS plus according to what I understood another SIM wouldn't work in the phone unless I was out of the US.

What carrier did you have this with?
