IPhone makes a good product. Android makes good products as well as some less than great devices.

Now within the good Android devices you have some phones that have tons of extra added "gimmicky" features that some people use and others love.
You can't always compare iPhone to Android.

They both make great products.

100% true.
Just think about how far we are technologically from just a few years ago.
The stuff we have nowadays is great, and the features we need are far beyond the basic needs we had for internet, email, and media in our pocket.

so after all i went to apple store and they saw water damage in my broken iphone 5. so i went to verizon and they gave me 300$ trade in value...

i dont want to busy more than i am, so i dont care for my phone to be customized and stuff like that... is there any advtage of the S$ other than that than to the iphone?

It's preference. For me it's not just the customization. It's also the OS itself. (And not having to use iTunes for everything)  Also I enjoy a larger screen. 4.3 to 4.7 is my personal size preference.
If you like the iPhone though and it works for you it's still a great phone.

i have it in my pocket, the s4 is big...i dpnt have a pocketbook or belt clip, so i still like smaller.... cool ok, thanks!

Yeah, the s4 IS big. You could check out a MoTo x.

The Moto X? It's out already. It's a 4.7 inch screen just like the HTC One but smaller in the hand and really nice to hold.

  Does the new Iphone 5S from Sprint have a SIM card that I can remove for use in Europe . ( Micro, Nano Whatever type ) . I know the old one had it , but want to be sure .

Is it locked , and will they unlock it ?  If wrong thread please redirect

AFAIK it will. And they will generally unlock it for you if your account is in good standing.

verizon doesnt check for damage??

they do, cracked screen... other than that since i brought in the original box they were fine with it... that means they saw the SN on the box

   People are rich.  For them time is more important than money. I have a friend who gets the new model  Iphone on his biz account every time it comes out . Pays the Early cancellation fee and toggles back from ATT to Sprint

He gives them to his kids . I am on the waiting list when he has an extra one .

  New question . I am buying 2 IPhone 5s GSM version to bring to CUZ in Greece . Would it pay for me to buy one outright and connect on a prepaid plan in NYC because I am out of the country 5 months per calendar year , on average?

If I put contracted phone on suspend it extends my contract till I have 24 paid months , I have been told . Never suspended it in the past because my Sprint BB still sent me emails via Wifi when in Europe !

Now if I go the IPhone route , I don't need to pay when I am away
