Continental Onepass
« on: March 26, 2010, 02:43:15 PM »
Does anyone have a link to a good explanation of the continental onepass/Star Alliance program? I have SPG and Onepass miles and would like to travel to Cancun in August. Probably going from YUL and I think air canada is a star alliance partner. Would like to figure out the best way to use miles/point to get the flight or upgrade.

Thanks!

Air Canada is a Star alliance member and they have direct flights from YUL to CUN. I would try searching first online directly on the Continental website for award availability and the Air Canada flights might show up, if not try calling them up.

I just checked on Continental.com some random August dates and found tons of availability for 17,500 miles each way in economy (35K round trip). Most with 1 stop and I found some with direct flights (1 example was flying from YUL-CUN on 8/9 10:50am).
Let me know if you needed any other info.
