Don'ts

gym membership:Don't buy your wife a gym membership or any work out device. Ever. Like ever ever. Even if she asks or begs for it.

Drug store candy: If you are going to go and buy her some sort of dessert, don't bother going to your local CVS or Walmart for that if you don't intend to get yelled at.

Items that need fixing in the house: Don't buy your wife a washing machine, dish washer, vacuum cleaner bc its needed in the house. Would you have not gotten it if it wasn't her birthday around the corner?

Call your wife female spouse.

Do's

Jewelry : Diamonds ALWAYS work.

Call her Female Spouse. The capital letters make all the difference.

Pokemon Go She probably hasn't had a chance to download it

Every case is so different, hard to give advise on this without: 1)knowing the personality of the miss. 2) know what she already have, 3) know what's missing her.
Love me or hate me. I still love you.

Jewelry.
End of story.
+1, if it's in the budget. and even for cheaper you can find things that are nice. Or a watch
Other ideas:
Day in the spa
Ice cream maker
Painting for the house
Trip to mle

Thanks, all.

Jewelry is so hard to pick, even if it might be the best choice. Also, it can get expensive.

Things for the house is not a bad idea, a la ice cream maker, painting, etc.

Keep 'em coming!

p.s. may i just ask why you chose 'female spouse' instead of wife ? sounds disghusting to me

I had written "Anniversary Gift for Spouse?" and realized it was unclear if I was talking about male or female, so I added female.

Tell him no matter how bad he is at coming up with ideas that he should do it himself. His spouse will know it was his idea and it will mean more to her. I know it sounds corny but it is true!

That's only if there are things u wanted what if he didn't know of anything. why wouldn't this OPs friend just get what the wife wants. So I inferred that he was no idea so therefore the next best thing is jewelry or housewares maybe,

What would u say?
If you have any questions please search and then ask. PM me for detailed help.

Doesn't have to be expensive jewelry.
There's nice stuff on V-P today in lots of price ranges, plus $25 off with Citi AMEX.
