Understood, in any case I ate at prime bistro last night and it ended up costing me 160 with tax and tip so I saved $16 bucks and that’s a very good savings! The food was good, but every time I order a $45 prime rib I have no choice but to compare it to prime rib at LeMarais and nothing compares to that, so I always fall short of my expectations, but it was a great experience and I enjoyed it a lot.

yes, it was really nice, totally recommend it, but again the food in the city beats anything ,but a change is nice sometimes

I never had another username on here and have no connection to that sforim store, but in this case I can almost guarantee that this is a concentrated effort by 2 or 3 people to promote a Jewish company (which I find nothing wrong with, a jewish company should get the same ammount of free air time as buy.com or any other company..).

Its a gr8 and reliable site and you could find a number on there to call and the boss always picks up and takes care of everything right away. I've bought a few certificates from them and always got it right away....

He (the boss) used to offer free restaurant advise, IIRC he would advertise himself as the restaurant guy, he'd advise where to eat etc.. But I think he's officially stopped that free "service".  I guess that was the preliminary to his current business.

I have used them for lunch in manhattan as well.  I just email beforehand to make sure élan is around to send me the certificates right away if I need them mediately. Pitopia used to be 6.50 for 10.  Now it is 7.50.  Still a good deal.

the guy enjoys trying to help make seder in the forums and accusing people (many times right.. Ehemm..) that is his nature. Which is harder to change - than to write an "apology".
