You can rent an apartment somewhere.  Obviously if you search hard enough you can get a suite in a hotel, if you have the points, great.  If you have the cash, great.

Personally I rented an APT in Provo T & C that could sleep 4 comfortably (location wasn't so good)

Hi,
I'm looking to spend 3 Marriott free night certs (35k points or less). I'm flying from NYC and would spend 3-4 nights in the winter. I went to CUN last year, but would be open to going back if it is the best option. It would probably just be my wife and me, though if any locations would be particularly conducive to bringing a 2 year old, that might be helpful. The hotels I've found before that qualify:

- Coral Atlantis
- Marriott Cancun
- Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino

Note: I am wary of Zika, but willing to go somewhere with a low risk (ie Cancun). I think this would eliminate Puerto Rico if I'm not mistaken. If it is determined that PR is no longer a Zika risk, then Sheraton Puerto Rico Hotel & Casino could be an option as well.

Does anyone have recommendations either between these 3 or for other locations?

If anyone has recommendations between these 3, or other places I haven't listed, please let me know. Thanks!

Do you need kosher food and/or minyan? If you want fresh kosher food ala restaurant, then your options are very limited.

Don't need a resturant per say. I can bring frozen meals in/buy from chabad.

IMO, I enjoyed Barbados the most of all the islands I visited. As am sure you know, there is limited to do outside of water “activities “ in the islands.

Puerto Rico had the best food so you wouldn’t have to bring anything.

Only Marriott under 35k is Courtyard Bridgetown, Barbados which doesn't look great.

Chabad runs a “grocery” store in addition to a pizza shop/dairy restaurant.. Can’t recall if they also have a meat side. Shabbos kiddush is also full service.

You’re right but can’t have everything. I’ve been to Cancun and Aruba, and would rather stay in a so so hotel in Barbados then a nicer hotel on another island. Of course, this is because I only use the hotel to sleep in. If cost is a factor, consider Airbnb.

Referring to Caribbean islands. Cancun is Mexico.
