I need suggestions and advice.

Looking to spend 7-10 days alone just husband and wife (no kids) on a trip that will be once in a lifetime opportunity to escape the kids for a full week or longer.

Trip will take place in July 2020.
Flying from: JFK (or similar)
Airline: Any but have Jetblue Mosaic

Requirements:
Only thing my wife wants is sun and water. Just a relaxing day in the heat with a NICE pool and drinks is enough to make her happy.

In the past we always limited ourselves to places that had kosher food (ie: Miami, Vegas, Cancun, San Juan, Bahamas etc) but she wants something more "exotic" but at the same time the trip is longer than the average vacation we take (2-3 days) so food may be a significant factor.

Was thinking of Hawaii or Maldives, but not sure of the food situation and again having "decent" food options is an important factor on a 10 day trip (as oppose to a 2-3 day trip where we can live on fruits and yogurts).

Any suggestions? Any ideas? Any tips?

It will be greatly appreciated.

Ritz Carlton Ras el Khaima resorts (there’s one on the beach and one in the desert) or al maha resort (Marriott as well), base room is a villa with a pool gorgeous setting, very luxurious and really good staff -that you won’t find in the Caribbean- super relaxing plus some cool excursions available.

In terms of kosher you can either bring your own food, get from one of the local kosher eateries or you might also get the hotel to make you some stuff like eggs etc especially if you speak with them in advance (al maha is all inclusive, ritz should give free breakfast to Marriott gold)

So flights to my beloved private island are bonkers. Looking at other options - anywhere in the Caribbean I can find a private beach with great snorkeling a la Hawaii? Or even better, officially private...

Does anyone know any (hyatt, marriot, IHG) resort that has rooms/suites that come with a private pool bookable with points?
Some that I see, when actually check up the dates, comes up that the hotel isn't accepting points)

AA had flights from NY to RTB for 25k business special, at least for August dates.

For the return I could only find United, and it wasn't cheap (19.2k plus $70 for Economy, or 50k for business).

It seems like there are many dates with only one flight from the US a day, so need to get lucky.

I came across this topic and I just wanted to add that I spent tons of time researching (in early 2020) most of the Caribbean islands and the conclusion I came to was Aruba!!
It is a beautiful, happy, fabulous island. It was lots of fun!!!! really enjoyed!!!

Contadora island (Panama) has great snorkeling and deserted beaches, only 1 real hotel in the island Mar Y Oro
