the prince castle high chair (only found it locally) is extremely practical/no little crevices, great tray, fantastic wheels, option for extra trays for milchig/fleishig, and small foot print. only problem is that it doesn't recline
Isn't it hard to open with only one hand? Also did your child's hand ever get squeezed while you were closing it?

Like I said
Heard a lot of people who advise against the boon. It's not very comfortable for the kid, has a tiny tray, and takes up a ton of floor space.
Been doing research since I'm looking to buy one too. Heard amazing things about the Siesta and the Graco Blossom (if you're looking for a cheaper alternative).

Very easy to open with one hand (can open one side at a time) and no

But unlike many other ikea items, this high chair is very durable.

It's very light and slides easily..

Btw, I actually had to customized mine by adding a four point harness. (This kid is rambunctious) Bought harness from Ali Express for nothing, and put a small bolt in the lip on the back..

we actually bought a bib like vest which straps to the highchair by means of clips for a rambunctious kid of mine but yours is certainly cheaper

We have one of the peg perego prima pappa versions that we bought a couple of years back & recently tried out the boon, I hated it, I think the people that like it simply haven't tried other options.

Three big cons:

Tiny tray
No recline ability
Can't fold it (yes a feature I've used many times)

Just started using my Graco Blossom and love it so far. Huge tray (with a removable insert), wheels make the chair easy to move, reclines, leather seat wipes clean, and doesn't have a massive footprint.
