Sprint outage in Brooklyn area

Any one else having problems with sprint not being able to make or accept calls nor text when not in roaming.? The new phones don't have the option of roaming only

Roaming is the only good thing with Sprint!

They're upgrading/working on a lot of their towers (installing LTE etc.) so they have been taking towers offline completely for a little while here and there.

all sprint subscriber in brooklyn could contact sprint and ask for some kind of credit while they are working on these towers. i got yesterday evening $ 15

The reason why they took off the roaming only option on all the new phones is bec it was costing them a fortune. People (like me) were keeping there phones on roaming at all times. Which in essence means that they had Verizon service for sprint pricing. Alas those days are over. Now i have Verizon.
