Chase Private Client Experience?
« on: August 26, 2012, 06:53:41 PM »
Are there any advantages to be a Chase Private Client?  Other than some minor fee waivers, (5 non-chase atm fees, wire transfers-I don't use, the occasional stop payment, an extra percent on a CD?). Chase has not made the case to become a Chase private client.
I am worried that they will keep calling me to invest with them, Also do I have to talk the same person at the branch when there is a problem?

Free admission to a couple museums in NYC... :) I also hear they waive annual fees on CC's

I think you need 30million invested with Chase.
If you have that, you don't belong on this website

Where did you get that from??

"Just who qualifies as mass affluent varies by bank, with JPMorgan Chase’s minimum for Private Client accounts generally at $500,000, although executives say customers with less can also qualify. Citigold offers access to customers beginning at $50,000."

Alternatively, ask to open a checking account, and while doing so, ask them what benefits you get if you put a couple hundred k in there. They'll probably try to convince you to join cpc, and you have 12 months to bring 250k, but can take advantage right away. Not many advantages besides convenience, investment banking (with a fee) and an extra 10k for the SP card.

I use FirstRepublic bank and they allow free withdraw from any ATM free.  The only requirement is min 3.5K in your checking account.
