Auto check Vs. Carfax
« on: August 28, 2012, 03:12:50 PM »
The title basically says it all. I am looking to buy a used car and it seems I need to shell out some money to check the vehicles history. While that makes sense, doing it twice doesn't. So is there any difference between Auto Check and Carfax that would help me decide between the two? Is there any reason to check both?

IME Carfax will have a more complete vehicle history. I was researching a car a while back and there were only 6 records on Autocheck, when I ran the carfax it showed 15 records.
