Opening a Credit Card With No Credit History

I would like to open a credit card, but I have no credit history. I never had a credit card, no mortgage on my name - no credit whatsoever. I tried applying for a few cards, and I have been denied. I would like to start building up my credit. Does anyone have any idea where I can apply for a card that will most likely accept me?

Do you qualify to open a college checking account? You can try and open a CC at the same time. Welcome to DDF!
