For the 21 mth old, you might want to consider Benadryl - talk to your doctor.

Have you given it to a child on a plane? And for what?

Please speak to your child's pediatrician to get the go ahead and the correct dosage for the benadryl. Most importantly you have to try it out before the flight as some kids can have an adverse reaction to it. Benadryl keeps my kids awake!

You may want to consider this GoGo Babyz Kidz Travelmate http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000JJK9EY/ref=oh_details_o05_s00_i00 you could hook it onto the car seat and roll it like a stroller its perfect for the 21 month old  . I've traveled with it and it's a life saver.
Last month, I did some major travelling with the Mishpocha - About 50 hours of flying time, spanning 4 continents.
At your suggestion, the suggestion of Dan (TR to FL), and others (sprinkled around DDF,) I shelled out the $$$ to buy the GoGo Babyz Kidz Travelmate.
In hindsight, this was not just an enhancement, but a GAME-CHANGER … worth every single penny.
I am just shouting it out in case anyone else is contemplating getting one ... if you are flying with an infant, it will make the world of a difference.

[Mods: This whole thread probably belongs in "Up in the Air".]

Glad you enjoyed!
Did you get the Scenera as well?
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

No, I've had a Graco ComfortSport since around '04, serves me well, (unless I don't know what I am missing on).

[We all enjoyed ghetto upgrades on JFK-FRA-SIN (SQ), so the baby wasn't in the car seat much for those legs.]

imo the 5 month old is easier bec will sleep alot. the 21 month old is a very hard age.

try to not let him/her kick the seat in front of u :)

i have taken for my kids - sippy cup/bottle with apple juice (they let it go thru)
the small french yogurts - a treat for my kids

if ur baby is on formula take a dispenser like this

As a general rule, it is compatible with most car seats.
Maybe order it, and if it doesn't suit your needs, return it?

Gr8 Ideas! The trip is in the past though.. I actually had a laptop for dvd's, they even let me take through water bottles.. said it was for the kids.
On the way back from Australia, they made me open a drink box so that they can test the liquid..wtvr.

m&d magnets - i only got that after i got back, but yeh, that would be a good plane toy.

Not sure if this is the case on all airlines but on air Berlin when you gate check your stroller they check it all the way through to your final destination. On the way to TLV and sitting in DUS now with a 20 month old and no stroller :-(
