booking aa with ba miles

im trying to fly nyc-dtw on april 11 either one way or roundtrip returning aug 4 but the tickets are very expensive (the frozen four [college hockey final four] is that weekend in detroit). there arent any mile saver awards available on aa just the economy anytime. i wanted to know if ba has access to the aa economy anytime award tickets or just to the mile saver tickets. thanks

Generally speaking you can only book saver awards using partner miles.

 did you look at FNT (Flint) or GRR (Grand Rapids) wont be non-stops. CLE is apx 2 1/2 hr drive.TOL (Toledo) is 1 hr dont know if AA goes into any of them I imagine they do out of ORD
