my father has 180000 capitol one miles ( yes he stupidly spent that much money on a capitol one card, i recently convinced him to switch to chase sapphire) what can these be used for or transfered to?

hey may be only able to use 1 cpm but he did only spend 50 cents per mile earned (aka, 2 miles per dollar). dont think its as bad as everyone says

Agreed.
Ppl often discount cash back, but if you don't need the miles, or would just sell them otherwise, 2% cash back is better than the value you would receive for 1 mile per dollar. (Unless it's SPG)

But no point in revisiting the issue. It's been discussed ad-nauseam.
