Using WI-FI on my blackberry!?

I have a Blackberry in Israel with Blackerry Internet Service, i would like to know if i am outside israel any my phone will be on WI-FI will i be able to use BBM (Blackberry messanger service) like ill be able to use the internet???

yes, BBM uses your data connection.  If that is wifi then you are good to go. Just be careful because if the wifi shuts off for some reason and you are still using BBM then you will get charged a lot

thanks, so let me understand something, y if i only have a tlk and txt and web plan i wont be able to use BBM only if i also have BIS (blackberry internet service)? if on wi fi it will work??

unless it works differently in israel then in america then it should work on your wifi.  Try shutting your mobile network connection off and turning wifi on and see if your BBM works

BBM will only work if you have an active BIS subscription somewhere in the world. The provider pays RIM $10/quarter for this.

so u say that if i have an active BIS subscription somewhere then it will go.!! do u mean me to say that i have ON THIS PHONE BIS somewhere in world or...?? and do i need that the sim from me in israel where i have the BIS that it should be in the phone when i wanna get the wifi or it dosent need?
