Paying an American CC bill in Israel?

Hi all,

Pretty sure this has been discussed before, but I can't seem to find it... What's the best way to pay an American CC bill (Amex and Chase, specifically) while in Israel? Besides for converting my shekels to dollars and sending or wiring them to my checking account in the US, of course.

Theres an Amex office, but IIRC they stopped accepting cash payment.

You can always swap with someone who has money in the US and needs it here. They can make an online payment from their US bank, send you paypal or Amazon Payments, or hand cash there to your ppl, and you give them cash etc here.

I know, but such arrangements are generally one-off deals. I need a reliable method of paying my bills every month, without worrying about who this month's "sponsor" will be.

My wife's customers pay her in shekels. Likewise, any side jobs I do locally (e.g. deliveries) earns me money in shekels as well. Getting that money into my Chase checking account can be problematic.
