Barclay reconsideration line: 866-408-4064, Mon-Fri 8AM - 5PM EST.
The 24-hour number is 866-408-4064
New 24 hour number is 866-205-5973
you can finally fax documents to Barclays the number is 866-836-6959

Based on the phone reps, an application usually remains in the system for 90 days, during which you can ask for a reconsideration.
However, if 30 days have passed, it will incur another hard pull.

There have been a few reports of Barclay pulling credit again when reconsidering - even when specifically asked not to.
Make sure to explicitly tell the rep that you don't want another credit pull. The benefit of such action would be that if later you see they did pull your credit you can call up and speak to a manager and have the pulls removed (based on first-hand accounts from this thread).

If you want to guarantee that you don't get another pull, freeze your credit report.

While Barclay recon reps are usually very tough to deal with, there have been sporadic reports of them reconsidering by reallocating credit-line from other cards. Additionally, there are a few reports indicating success with the 3BM.
Personal and biz didn't combine

Barclay recon reps take notes of each phone call and subsequent reps usually regurgitate the previous rep's reply.

Barclays has a 6/24 rule similar to chase 5/24. Not hardcoded like chase though.

3 if you're lucky, 4 is probably a pipe dream.

You can always HUCA, try speaking to a supervisor and keep going up the chain.

any suggestions what to answer regarding 'too many cards opened recently' might be they just reading notes, but after all they all keep on repeating the same thing over and over.

look at your FICO on Barclay it may show

Factors affecting your FICOŽ Score1

    1.  Lack of recent installment loan information  Show Details

Current credit activity is necessary for accurately assessing a Consumer's future credit risk. Consumers who have not used this type of credit recently have limited information available that demonstrates their ability to manage credit.
    2.  Too many inquiries last 12 months  Hide details

Consumers who apply for several loan accounts (number of inquiries) generally pose a higher risk because of their active desire to expand their access to credit. Most consumers open new loan accounts on an as-needed basis. High credit-seeking behaviors can be an indication that a consumer is over-extending their level of debt. These consumers have a higher risk of delinquency (falling behind on payments) or charge-off (loan default).

no I am not saying that-- keep trying -- keep in mind your app is good for 30 days, maybe give calling a "little "rest"  and call in a week - all it takes is "one" yes

The pull isn't that big of a deal but it is annoying not to get any cards out of it. How many cards have you opened in the last 12 months btw?

any data on this;
https://www.doctorofcredit.com/is-barclay-denying-those-with-many-new-accounts-similar-to-524-contribute-data-points-here/
Well, it sure explains a lot here.. tried HUCA many times, no luck so far, Supervisor kept  on repeating same few words (sounded like he read notes of his computer) "i do understand that, but there's too many cards opened the past 24 months.." whatever i had to say he replied with the same answer..
i guess there's some sort of ?/24 rule.

I'm wondering if it's only on points cards like Aviator & Arrival or will implement to other as Cash fwd & Ring?

I'm way over 5/24, just applied for aviator card. It went pending, and I got a call from the credit analyst this morning. They offered to move credit around, and approved.

It seems like it's only for the Arrival for now.

I think its only arrival +. I applied for arrival + denied.  then applied aviator, 20k CL, auto approval, no problem
