tried applying under a legal business name for an aviator business card and was auto declined.

can only assume it is due to the fact that i currently have another aviator business card in my name as a sole prop.

I had to use my ss number alone on the application as there was no place to enter an EIN.

any DP on how to apply for more then 1 card?

Has anyone called their business line recently? The hold times are ridiculously long.

ETA: They finally picked up after about a 2 hour hold.

I applied for the aviator business card, they sent me a letter requesting to mail them form 4506-T. The only issue here is that (since July 2019) the IRS will only mail the transcript to the filers address (myself), and not to any 3rd party’s.
Are they unaware of that?

Interesting, I was not aware of that 4506 policy change. Did you tell Barclays that? What did they say?

Amex made me have it mailed to myself, and requested (demanded) I leave the envelope unopened, and mail it to them at me expense.

And yes, I got shut down anyway.

but they didn’t request that. They requested the actual form mailed to them.

does barclays have any similar SUB bonus rules like chase 1/24 months or amex 1/ lifetime? i applied for an aviator business card and was rejected bec i had the product previously.

Barclays is not as black-and-white as some of the other banks (such as Chase).

Here's what I am aware of:

1. Barclays looks at the spending on your current barclays cards and partially uses that to determine whether to approve you for a new card

2. There are some DP's of a soft 6/24 rule...but they don't always enforce it...so it's very YMMV

3. If you look closely at the T&C it says "From time to time, we may offer bonuses of AAdvantage® miles or other incentives to new American Airlines AAdvantage® Aviator® Business Mastercard cardmembers in connection with an application for a new card account. These bonuses and/or incentives are intended for applicants who are not and have not previously been American Airlines AAdvantage® Aviator® Business Mastercard cardmembers. You understand and agree that you may no longer be eligible for any bonuses and/or incentives in connection with a new American Airlines AAdvantage® Aviator® Business Mastercard account after this Card Account is opened. If you receive a bonus or incentive for which you are not eligible due to your status as a current or former American Airlines AAdvantage® Aviator® Business Mastercard cardmember, we may revoke the bonus or incentive, or reduce your AAdvantage® miles by the amount of the bonus or incentive, or charge your Card Account for the fair value of the bonus or incentive, in our sole discretion."

Reports on DoC are that if you get approved, you will normally earn the bonus...but that language from Barclays is very vague and broad...so it does theoretically give them latitude to do whatever they want if they think you're abusing them.

just to add that the rejection came despite the 2nd app being for a 2nd business with EIN, and was told I have to wait 24 months from receiving a SUB before getting approved.

Applied for business card and they asked for a 4506t.

Problem is I added household income (which is significant).

Asked if I can send in a 4506t from a household member and they said no, so I sent in mine and was denied.

My question is, has anybody here had success sending in a household members 4506t?

any difference between calling recon after 30 day window vs just filling out a new app?

i applied for the aviator business but forgot about it until day 45 after initial application. so now am debating what to do, as from i read it appears that a hard pull will be done by the recon dept.

My lufthansa miles are set to expire end of this month. As far as I see, the only way of extending the life of the miles is by applying for the Barclays miles&more credit card.
question, being that I'm 2 weeks from expiration date, does it extend the life of my current miles immediately after approval?
