Options for getting access to the Dan Lounge in Ben Gurion Airport
1) Coupon given with boarding pass for biz (can be given to friend flying eco)
2) Biz boarding pass, without coupon (YMMV)
3) *G (With card)
4) Priority Pass
5) UA UC membership when flying (*A or UA?)
6) LC from Ink Bold
7) United Club Card (Only if flying United)

8) Israeli AMEX plat or Israeli Diners international with High miles club.

No annual fee for this card (as long as you sign up through people and computers).
They changed the terms a while ago and now you only get entrance to the Dan lounge ounce a month, after downloading a code in advance, AND having spent 2000 shek that month on the card.

Despite the repeated discussion about this topic, I don't see any final, clear answer in this thread: can you get into the Dan lounge using a United Club membership card when not flying Star Alliance, but rather (for example) some crappy, non-alliance airline?

It def used to be more lenient with the united lounge pass but they started not letting people in unless they are flying united

Yes.

The one-time passes are single-use coupons that you get for having the Explorer card. I'm talking about an actual United Club membership (i.e. a yearly "subscription"), which you get from either having the Club card, or from paying many many many many many many dollars for in the form of a yearly membership fee.
